Leopoldina Distinguished Fellowship for Scientists from Ukraine- Rolling Call
Brief description of the programme
The German National Academy of Sciences introduces a special fellowship for scientists from Ukraine who have their careers in science endangered or interrupted by the war to resume or continue their research activities, and remain in academia. The funding is person-related and designed for outstanding post-doctoral level scientists from Ukraine to work on an independent research project at a university or research institution in Germany for an initial period of one year, while maintaining their affiliation at a Ukrainian institution. Generally, applicants are eligible for funding up to 7 years after completing their doctorate or equivalent academic degree.
Funding
- A monthly stipend of €2,400 during the stay in Germany;
- A monthly lump sum for travel and material costs of €100;
- A monthly child allowance of €400 for the first child and €100 for every additional child
