Brief description of the programme
The Bertha Benz Prize is awarded annually to young female engineers who create added value for society with the findings of their dissertations. This prize, which is endowed with a sum of 10,000 euros, acknowledges pioneering spirit, courage, and visionary character in commemoration of Bertha Benz. In addition to the scientific originality of the work, the practical and social relevance of the research results will be evaluated. The call for proposals is thus aimed in particular at dissertations with a pronounced application focus.
Nomination proposals must be send to Katharina Klein. Nominations are then submitted by the Board of Directors.
