Leopoldina and the Commerzbank Foundation award the new "ZukunftsWissen - Early Career Award of the Leopoldina und Commerzbank-Foundation" prize annually to outstanding early career scientists. The prize is endowed with 50,000 euros.

The new "ZukunftsWissen" prize is intended to recognize scientists up to 10 years after their doctorate who have made outstanding achievements in the respective subject area of the Leopoldina Annual Assembly and whose research focuses on the challenges of the future.

The theme of the 2025 Annual Assembly will be "Artificial Intelligence".

Members of the Leopoldina are eligible for nomination. Nomination proposals can be submitted to Katharina Klein.
