HiDA Researcher Grants

A good network can open many doors and with it can be a critical component of your career success. HiDA Researcher Grants are one opportunity to expand your network as the goal of this program is to connect researchers from different research fields, enable the exchange of knowledge and methods, and build an interdisciplinary community of data scientists. They consist of two funding lines: the Helmholtz Visiting Researcher Grants and the HiDA Trainee Network and they are aimed at researchers from national and international research organizations, universities, private industry or other Helmholtz Centers.

HiDA Researcher Grants

As a doctoral researcher or a postdoc working on topics in the field of information & data sciences you have the possibility to complete a fully-funded short-term research stay (1-3 months) at one of the 18 Helmholtz Centers. Since many institutes at FZJ from various scientific fields work with a close connection to information and data sciences, they are accordingly happy to host young researchers and support them with a specialist expertise.

The Helmholtz Information and Data Science Academy (HiDA) provides a list of possible host supervisors at the different Helmholtz Centers, including many profiles of research groups at FZJ: Host profiles. Please don´t hesitate to contact them or as well other scientific institutes in Jülich whose research work is of interest to you.

A CALL FOR APPLICATION OPENS TWICE A YEAR IN JANUARY AND IN JULY.
