The lecture will be held in German.

What is presented?

A promising active ingredient against Alzheimer's disease that offers hope. A quantum computer that can open new doors for small and medium-sized enterprises. And a drought tool that tells our farmers where drought is looming. All of this is being developed at the Jülich Research Centre. And it shows that research can make a big difference when it finds its way into practical application.

But such successes could happen much more often. What is the problem and what can we change?

A recent study commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) shows that transfer and innovation funding at the federal level is diverse – but there is further potential.

During the event, Dr. Ann-Katrin Beuel (I) will present a few examples. Florian Knetsch and Dr. Natalie Mevissen (both PtJ) will then present the key findings of the study and show how transfer could be even more successful. After this brief introduction, the discussion will focus on practical recommendations for action with the participants.

Anyone with an internet connection and a computer or tablet can join the event at the given time. You can choose if you want to turn on your camera or microphone. No registration is necessary to join the event.

We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!
