About Science Year ‘Energy for the Future’

The slogan of About Science Year 2025 is ‘Energy for the Future’. The initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) asks how we can make our energy supply sustainable, secure and affordable – and thus focuses on central topics of Jülich research. Whether it's hydrogen technologies, intelligent energy storage or digital energy systems, researchers at Jülich are working on solutions for tomorrow's energy. We think about energy systemically – in an interdisciplinary, networked way and always with a view to practical applications.
