On the Track of Neurodegenerative Diseases

Jülich, 31 March 2021 – Structural changes in the brain caused by neurodegenerative diseases do not appear to spread randomly but tend to start at certain points, as Jülich researchers together with colleagues from the USA, Italy, and the United Kingdom report in the journal Communications Biology. The results originate from a meta-analysis, in which several research works on the same topic are pooled and evaluated according to quantitative criteria using statistical methods.
