Equality, Equal Opportunities Officer and Gender Equality Plan at FZJ

Gender Equality

Gender Balance Promotes Excellence and Innovation

Equality and gender diversity are integral parts of Forschungszentrum Jülich’s values and objectives. Together, we are working to create an open and equitable working environment in which different perspectives are valued and potential is nurtured to the fullest extent possible.

The Equal Opportunities Officer, her deputies, and the representatives at FZJ’s branch offices advise and support all our employees on matters related to equality. As an independent body, they drive development forward, provide input on innovative measures, and highlight critical issues.

FZJ upholds the principles and standards of equality and gender diversity in science.
The Equal Opportunities Officer promotes an equitable, open, and diverse workplace culture. The Gender Equality Plan serves as the roadmap for these efforts.

Cornelia Schlebusch, Equal Opportunities Officer FZJ

Gender Equality Plan (GEP)

Through its Gender Equality Plan, FZJ establishes a strategic framework that promotes women in science and leadership while fostering a gender-sensitive, equitable environment for all employees.
